CALIBRATION OF INSTRUMENTS, EQUIPMENT & SERVICES

Our technical staff is trained and certified to maintain and calibrate fixed gas monitors, portable gas detectors (Drager, Industrial Scientific, Honeywell, etc.) and breathalyzers (Lion Laboratories, ACS).

Any instrument that measures toxic or combustible gas, needs to be calibrated. These devices protect the safety of workers and anyone who could come in contact with these hazardous gas or material. It’s also a legal requirement. It helps to protect your organization against liability if there is an incident, injury, illness or fatality.

Calibration is essential to all devices that measure a variable. However, while your devices are accurate without calibration, we can’t be positive they are accurate to a specific measurable degree (and thus can’t prove their accuracy) unless we perform a calibration.

Performing regular calibration and maintenance just makes sense. The frequency for calibration and maintenance depends on the equipment and usage. Calibration should be performed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
